About The Moyer Method?


Hey. My name is Steve and I am a health and wellness coach and creator of The Moyer Method.

I do this work because I want to live in a world where people aren’t tricked by fad diets and told they can get abs in 6 seconds. I know what it feels like to be confused when it comes to exercise and eating right and I also know what it feels like to finally understand how to lose stubborn fat and create muscle.

My highest hope is that through spending some time with The Moyer Method you will finally start living in your best body.

Now that you know why I do what I do... Here’s a little more about my story:

  • I started my life as a professional basketball player in Europe.
  • I’ve worked as a GED teacher helping high school dropouts get their diploma in Reading, Pennsylvania.
  • I can’t stand when companies try to trick people into fad diets and gimmicky products.
  • My current obsessions are taking care of my newborn and perfecting my line of health foods. ­ My all­time heroes include Julius Erving, Martin Luther King, and my mom and dad.
  • The greatest compliment I ever received was ... well, they’re all pretty good, aren’t they?
  • My rock bottom moment was in 2003. I was playing in the highest professional league in Holland. I was in the best shape of my life. Two weeks into preseason I tore up my ankle. I was out 12 weeks and came back 20 pounds overweight and completely out of shape. I was terrible, and I got released.
  • I first discovered my current line of work when I returned home from Europe in 2004.
  • I am 100% committed to my work because I love it and because it’s what I do, and I believe in giving maximum effort in whatever you do.
