One thing Zoe mentioned was making better food choices.  Here's an easy recipe that anyone can whip up because it involves no cooking!  

 

This recipe only costs about $2.00 per serving.


Helpful Tip: prepare more than one serving at once to save time and to make sure you always have something healthy on hand.

TUNA (OR CHICKEN) WITH PINTO BEANS, ARTICHOKE HEARTS, CELERY, TOMATOES, ONION, AND PEPPERS

Ingredients:

5 ounces canned tuna packed in water, drained  

15 ounces canned pinto beans, drained  

1 ½ tablespoons olive oil  

15 ounces canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped 

½ onion, minced 

20 cherry tomatoes, halved  

3 stalks celery, chopped  

Juice of 1 lemon

2 cherry peppers, seeded and diced, optional


Combine ingredients and mix thoroughly.  


Divide into 3 servings and each one will be 316 Calories, 7.5g Fat, 38g Carbs, 23g Protein

Divide into 2 servings and each one will be 474 Calories, 11g Fat, 57g Carbs, 34.5g Protein
